Yes. The worst has happened.
2PM’s leader Park Jaebeom has quit for good, after it was announced on JYPE’s website on February 25th, taking Hottests in Korea and from all over the world by shock.
Excerpts from JYP Entertainment’s online letter,
“On December 22nd, 2009, Jaebeom confessed to Jung Wook representative that he had done something wrong during Again and Again promotions. Apparently, it was far more serious than his MySpace controversy.
The six other members were not notified then as they were busy with year-end activities. On January 3rd, 2010, everyone of us (along with the members) sat down for a discussion and came to an agreement 3 days later that it was no longer possible for Park Jaebeom to continue activities along with 2PM.
We thus decided to terminate our exclusive contract with Jaebeom.”
JYPE stated that Jaebeom’s social impulses were a private matter and will not be revealed. They expressed that it was difficult to reveal the details of Park Jaebeom’s offenders who had intruded into his privacy and posted the comments.
JYPE had planned for Jaebeom’s comeback back in November 2009, with the idea of a return in April 2010, to which Jaebeom himself agreed. Jaebeom would return to Korea in the 3rd week of February 2010 and have a press conference before resuming activities with 2PM in March. This comeback news were all kept secret, with the aim of protecting Jaebeom and 2PM. But this has now all become void.
We can only hope that the JYP conference planned for the 27th along with the 2PM fan communities will proceed smoothly. 100 Hottests have now gathered at the JYPE building in Seoul to protest at the point of writing.

JYPE IS LYING.
25Feb10
This is information from our KHottest Insider, Miss S:
“What I can tell you: They’re lying. Jay didn’t do anything wrong and the rest of the members never agreed to what says on the announcement. KHottests right now are trying to find every evidence that proves JYPE is lying.
As for iHottests: there isn’t much we can do other than promising not to support any JYPE artists.
1. The announcement says they decided on December 23rd, but on 31st, JYPE put up a post calling Jay “our leader”
2. The announcement says the members agreed to drop Jay out on January 6th, but Taec was in Boston, Woo, Junho, Junsu were in their hometowns. They were not in JYPE office to decide.
3. Just until couple days ago, members talked about Jay in TV shows, radios, interviews as if they knew Jay is coming back for sure. This tells that JYPE decided to drop Jay just now, without telling the rest of the members.
4. The scandalous rumor floating around right now about Jay, JYPE spread it themselves. OF COURSE IT’S A COMPLETE LIE. Jay was too busy to do anything back in AAA days.
5. The reason why JYPE kicked Jay out back in September is because some of his Myspace screen caps mentioned JYPE’s slave contract. Back when Jay was a trainee, JYPE offered him a slave contract and Jay had wrote down his dilemma on his Myspace. JYPE was afraid for this to spread, so they kicked Jay out of country 4 days after the issue had sparked. And a month after, JYPE released an article saying that JYPE has no slave contract as opposed to other entertainment companies in Korea.”
Please don’t give up on Jay. He needs us now more than ever.

Fans’ reaction to the reasons JYP gives for JaeBum’s 2PM withdrawal, “Lies”
Posted on February 25, 2010 by sookyeong
It has been announced that JYP Entertainment has terminated their contract with Park JaeBum who left 2PM to return to the States last September.
On 25th February, JYP Entertainment posted an announcement confirming the truth that they have terminated their contract with JaeBum.
Last September, JaeBum was caught in a controversy where he was criticised for the things he wrote on his MySpace page during his trainee days. He returned to the States just 4 days after the case blew up. During that time, fans have engaged in boycott activites to express their disagreement on JaeBum leaving the group, but in fact, JaeBum has been preparing for his comeback to 2PM.
But now that his contract with the company has been terminated, the comeback is rendered impossible.
Fans who have heard the news commented, “I cannot believe it”. And on various internet forums, comments like “I don’t believe”, “Lies”, “What exactly did he do wrong?” surfaced. And it was also known that some fans have gathered outside the JYP office building in Seoul CheongDamDong at the late hours after the news were released to express their anger on the case.
Meanwhile, the conference with fans for 2PM planned on 27th February will be carried out as planned.

OH GOSH, 16788 members left daum already in 4 hours and it's increasing!!!
Somehow, I'm really sad but kinda happy too, but I'm still gonna support 6PM, cause we loved them as a whole and not based on one member.
And I can't help but think that maybe they want us to think Jay's not coming back so that when he makes his appearance on April , we'd be in for that big surprise.
Do you think it's possible? o.o
But no matter what, I love ya Park JaeBeom.
